Andante Vineyards

Willamette Valley, Oregon

Over several years, Andante Vineyard evolved from a simple agricultural pole barn into a warm, inviting winery and hospitality destination. The design preserves the straightforward honesty of the original structure while transforming it into a place where visitors can experience winemaking up close and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Inside the tasting room, every detail was crafted to create a welcoming and acoustically comfortable environment, from the material palette to the spatial proportions. Strategically placed windows and roll-up doors allow guests to look directly into the winemaking and barrel-aging areas, strengthening the connection between craft and experience.

Outdoor seating areas wrap along the north and east sides of the building, carefully positioned to shelter visitors from the prevailing Van Duzer Corridor winds while still opening to expansive vineyard views. The result is a setting that balances openness with comfort, and agricultural simplicity with quiet refinement.
